Easy to use, compact and fun
I first came across these a long time ago, made from leather and glued together. I think they originated from Morocco. They were great for a while but always fell apart when the glue gave in. Eventually I couldn't find them anymore and set about designing a fabric version. The starting point was to make a paper origami sample. Over time the process has been perfected and the result now is a strong well sewn version.

Knowing what to call these has been my biggest headache. Purse in America implies a handbag, and purse to men can have an association with a feminine object. At RagamuffinStuff I applied the Ronseal 'Does Exactly What it Says on the Tin' model. They fold in on themselves to become compact whilst holding coins. They are therefore completely gender neutral and are offered in a huge range of colours and patterns to suit all tastes, whilst at the same time being made to the highest standard and hand washable. Oh and the off cuts are used to hand make my business cards.

They are perfect to slip into men's pockets to prevent the inevitable wear and tear and holes appearing. They are convenient to keep all the loose change together and easy to see what's inside once opened out. Easy too to take out and leave with keys ready to pick up before leaving home.
For handbags, especially smaller evening bags they are ideal to keep loose change together, as well as a few folded notes.
For kids they are ideal for lunch money and pocket money and come in a wide range of colours and patterns.
For plumbers never lose your radiator bleeding keys again.
Just a few suggestions - what would you use yours for?
